Your mobile number and text consent
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
What we collect
Your mobile phone number and the name your group knows you by; the bills you're part of (name, amount, due date) and whether your share is paid; and the texts you send us. For organizers, also their Venmo username and the Venmo payment emails they choose to forward to us (payer name, amount and note).
How we use it
Only to run Friendly Reminder: sending the bill reminder texts you signed up for, matching payments, and showing your group who has paid. We don't use it for advertising.
Text messages
Friendly Reminder sends recurring automated texts about a shared bill to people who opt in by texting their group's join code to (737) 200-1866. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See the texting terms.
Who sees it
People on the same bill see each other's names and paid or not-paid status. The board link shows the same names and statuses to anyone it's shared with. Phone numbers are never shown to the group.
Service providers
We use service providers only to operate the app: Twilio to send and receive texts, and Vercel and Neon to host it and store data. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
Your choices and contact
